Is there an alternative to Broadband Quality Monitor for BT

[link to this post]

I need to continuously monitor my BT broadband connection.

I know that the Thinkbroadband BQM does not work with BT Home Hub 5.

Has anyone found an alternative solution, not involving changing any hardware,

As the Home Hub does not responsd to ICMP pings then any other tool will not work either

Do you have IPv6?

If so you need to find the fixed WLAN address if an "always on" device on your LAN, and use that in the BQM. That may work. The temporary address reported by "What is my IP address" is no use.

Command prompt ipconfig/all is how.
