Looks like classic Overutilisation.
Basically Virgin Media not being able to keep up with the load on the network in your area.
Notice how it's through the roof in peak times, then goes clean again in the early AM?
Sadly, there's very little you can do currently.
You could post on the VM community forums to see if it's noted down and they have a "Fix date" - however, take it with a grain of salt as they're often pushed back.
You'll see curently there's more posts than ever about this exact issue from all over.
As one VM user quoted over there, to another user:
"Sounds like over-utilisation, which is spreading across VM's network like a form of digital Covid at the moment"
