BBQM equivalent for Republic of Ireland users ?

[link to this post]

Hi

Can anyone advise please ? We can use the BBQM here but need to try to manually account for distance/hops packets are travelling. Alternatively, any hard and fast rues for doing so ?

Thank you

There's no difference to you using the London based BQM from ROI and me using it from here in Edinburgh.
The internet has no borders.
There's lots of N.I users who use the BQM no problem.

Everyone who uses the BQM has to take their location in to account when looking at the results.
In simple terms the further from London you are then the higher the minimum latency will be.

How your ISP routes your traffic and the technology your broadband is provided over plays a part in how the results look.

You likely have a lower minimum latency than users in the Scottish Highlands. It might even be lower than my own connection.

I'm in Derry, N.I and use the BQM - my latency to the server is around 25ms (higher than yours from the last post I seen)
