Latency jump following ONT power cycle

[link to this post]

Our Giganet FTTP was installed earlier today.

I took the opportunity to rearrange some of the equipment in our cabinet and after restarting everything, noticed that the latency had jumped significantly/

My Broadband Ping

Any suggestions on potential causes for this?

Looks as though it jumped down again at ~21:30. Did you restart your router?

Both the router and the ONT were power cycled at that time.

Is their backhaul Zen? If it is, then welcome to the London / Manchester gateway lottery. Basically random each time you connect whether you end up gateway'd in London or Manchester.
