I believe Hyperoptic use CGNAT which would prevent this, unless you pay for a static IP?

Hi there! We are not familiar with the TBB ping monitor, however,

is true, our Network uses CGNAT and if the option relies on an IP address that is static, you would require an add-on. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service team if you wish to enable it!

TBB monitor is pretty simple - it pings a device and reports on the latency in graphs. This allows people to see if they have consistent latency and can often show issues with a connection (including heavy contention). But, it needs a device it can ping (usually the home router) but if it is CGNAT then the router has no public IP that can be pinged (it doesn't have to be static - a dynamic will work if using a service like DDNS). The important thing is the device must be publicly addressable.
