I am looking for help to interpret my BQM graph.
My Broadband Ping
In particular, is the packet loss normal for a full fibre connection. I never had anything like this on FTTC.

One comment - if you find out why the minimum latency has a sawtooth, let me know. I have the same on mine.

Mmmmm some Zen folks are having issues post migration onto Zen's own backhaul from BTW backhaul - checkout the Zen sub-forum for grim reading.
Then again it might just be your router de-prioristing ICMP (ping) for real work.
What's the connection like in real life?

Fritzbox will often drop pings from the WAN interface. There is a non-defeatable rate limit of 1 per second I believe. Particularly bad if you have more than one service pinging it, but it can even happen with just one service pinging it. Use a different router if you want reliable WAN ping, basically..

Fritzbox will often drop pings from the WAN interface. There is a non-defeatable rate limit of 1 per second I believe. Particularly bad if you have more than one service pinging it, but it can even happen with just one service pinging it. That sounds like the problem. Thank You
Use a different router if you want reliable WAN ping, basically.. What do you recommend? Will a Draytek 2860 work with Full Fibre?

On f8lure it looks different.
I never used to see this with my FTTC line.
Anyone know what's happening with this sawtooth effect?
I am also using the same router as with my FTTC line and ASUS AC86u.

Same here. I am with IDNet but the FTTP is provided via a Zen wholesale connection and seeing the following: My Broadband Ping
I am not seeing the same thing on f8lure, which shows a flat minimum ping line.
I also didn't see the same thing on my FTTC line, even though the router is the same: a Netgear Orbi RBR50 in my case.
And I am equally curious about why we are seeing this wave patter on an FTTP connection.

No worries.
I am in the interested but not really worried category on this one. My TBB speed tests are marginally better than on FTTC and my ping times are about 2ms better according to f8lure.
I really can't get my head around why there should be a regular wave pattern to the BQM graphs on TBB. The fact that F8lure looks linear leads me to think that it is something specific to TBB, but beyond that I don't have a clue.

im in the same boat if you look at my ping monitor link below you will see im getting packet loss throughout almost the entire day, yet on fttc it was always really good with no loss and actually less ping, im with hyperoptic.
