That won't work as it will give you the IPv6 address for the device (desktop/Laptop/mobile) you're using rather than the router's IPv6 address.

Have you logged into your router and looked for your IPv6 address. My guess is it will be in the general log or the routing table. It might be on the IPv6 configuration tab

Open BQM to set up a new monitor and it should auto suggest with an IPv6 address something like:

nxnn:nnxn:nnnn:nnnn:xnnn:nnxn:nnnn:xnnn

remove the last four bloks leaving:

nxnn:nnxn:nnnn:nnnn:: ensuring you put the two colons :: at the end

If BQM does not auto suggest, use what my IP at: https://www.thinkbroadband.com/tools/what-is-my-ip and process it te same way.

Try doing a traceroute to google.co.uk or any domain with an IPv6 address like the following:

tracert google.co.uk

And it will in most cases be the first hop in the list, well for me it is.

Sadly in most cases IPv6 addresses if dynamic will change very often, so best to setup a DDNS for the IPV6 Address and have the router update it when it detects the IPv6 Address has changed.
