Giganet DGA4135 - all red BQM

[link to this post]

Trying to get a BQM working on my new Giganet connection connected to a Technicolor DGA4135 router.

I'm getting all red on the BQM.

On the router Firewall settings I have set:

Firewall Default Behavior -> Answer Internet Pings = On

Are there any other setting I need to change to make this work?

Many thanks in advance,
Kenji

Just to add, I'm using the host IP listed in the router settings page:

Internet Access:
PPP Connected
WAN IP: 10x.6x.1xx.1xx

When I do a remote ping using https://www.wormly.com/test-remote-ping/ it fails, so maybe my IP is wrong?

You don't say what provider you are with or if you're on Openreach or an altnet infrastructure as you may have CGNAT in the way

I think Giganet uses CGNAT, is there a way to get BQM working?

Thank you for your advice!

If its CGNAT then I don't believe it will work as it would mean you're sharing the public IP with other customers.

if that IP you have hidden is 100.64. then I wouldn't even bother hiding it. It's CG-NAT and not your own IP.
You can't run a BQM unless you have IPV6
