Totally black regions in BQM graph?

What do the totally black regions in this graph represent?

Uptime robot reports no interupptions. This is a Virgin media box in modem mode connected to a pfSense router.

Are you using DDNS ? I had similar with an old DDNS provider (the one included in an Asus router). I have since switched provider and no longer get this effect.

It doesn't represent anything so the first thing that came to mind was no monitoring data, if you don't get a response here ask in the 'Talk To The Staff' section of the forum as they be able to take a closer look at your graph.

Could be Duckdns. I was using 3 broadband which changed ip address frequently. Now on Virgin and the IP is rarely changed so set up a new monitor with the numberic IP. This should show if the ddns is the problem.
