What happened to the think broadband meter?

[link to this post]

There used to be a tool called the think broadband meter but I can't find it now, is it still around? It was an app that was installed locally on the PC.

Your post stirred some vague memories, but all I can find is tbbMeter bandwidth meter is no longer available.

Like, "vague" to the extent I can't even remember what it did crazy

eta- or perhaps didn't do, which may be why it was withdrawn!

We ceased develpment on it quite a long time ago as new versions of Windows would have meant a lot more work. Also we've internally all switched from Windows to Macs so it's a bit difficult to test. We have pondered some tools to monitor broadband services client-side (BQM not working on many connections due to CGNAT) but not followed up on that yet.. playing with some ideas.

The old version probably wouldn't work on modern systems any more.
