Ping Weirdness with Threes 5G (Mobile Broadband)

[link to this post]

Hi Everyone,

Just a bit of a strange one, It seems the BQM pings are being filtered out on my connection, except I can't fathom \where\ it's getting filtered. I was wondering if you had experienced this.

I Have a BQM for my home broadband, which is a Three 5G ZTE MC888. It's set up to track the IP via DuckDNS and I use a PFsense router with the ZTE modem in Bridge mode (so the PFsense box gets a public IP).

When i first set up the BQM it worked as expected, the graph did look a little ugly due to the times duckdns doesn't respond but that's fine for me, it still works enough for me to see trends, However, since monday 3rd aug BQM has the correct IP supplied by ddns but all the pings are timing out/being filtered.

I have confirmed that DuckDNS is supplying the correct IP and Pfsense is still set up the same as it was before to respond to pings. So I'm not sure what's happened. To add confusion to the mix; I can still ping my modem using another three connected device (my phone in mobile data with wifi off). External to that though, such as via VPN, it doesn't seem to be able to send or recieve a ping.

I'm kind of a bit lost, though it's not a big issue overall, it's just weirding me out.
What do you all think? Is it being filtered somewhere?

Cheers
D.
Edit: Just clarified a few points.
