BQM stopped working - ideas please!

[link to this post]

Appreciate any ideas on this one - TIA!

Have been using BQM for a while. I have a dynamic public IP and configure BQM via DDNS. (All IPv4)
I had a broadband outage for 2 days. Since the connection has come back, the BQM is still red.
NSLOOKUP of my FQDN returns the correct address.

Im stumped...

Looks like your IP address might no longer be pingable. ISP blocking ping? Your router settings have been changed? You have been moved on to CGNAT?

Good ideas - thanks

Looks like your IP address might no longer be pingable. Agreed - possible. But how could this change? It was 2 days ago.

ISP blocking ping? If so, then an odd change to make and only as off 2 days ago. How test?

Your router settings have been changed? No

You have been moved on to CGNAT? No - as in my post - I have a public address.

Your router settings have been changed? No [3]

[1] But you have been off for 2 days. So something serious at the ISP end and they have not put things back the way they were.

[2] Go to a mate's house and try pinging from there

[3] Depends on your ISP. Some like to manage things for you, which means that they get less headaches and you get more

[4] How have you proved your public address? If you have been slammed on to CGNAT and go looking on the websites which tell you your IP address, you get the public address of the NAT.

--> Of course! I was stupid! I checked whatsipmy... That wont work! smile
I checked my router config and that is indeed the issue.
I have raised a ticket as my contract is for public IP

Thanks - I knew it would be something silly Id overlooked!
