Yeah they force you on to the blue bill payment if you regrade to MAX or probably take the new total broadband. BT don't care about customer satisfaction and quality , they just want the money sadly. They have said to me on a few occasions is that eventually all customers will be moved over too the blue bill payment method.

I had been paying for my adsl since the launch in 2000 and when I regraded to MAX they forced me onto the blue bill payment or I get no MAX. When they finally address this small mindedness they will make some customers happy. I'm still with BT but when the year of MAX is up I will seriously consider changing ISP.

You have to go onto the 'blue bill' as Robbo says...

However you can also choose to change from the 3 monthly to a monthly bill if you wish

Why wouldn't you want to pay through your phone bill?

Simple really... If you have two different people payign for different things you would naturally want to have the phone bill and internet separate!

Are you talking about your Phone Bill or your Internet Access?

If Internet Access, you will have to change to 'blue bill' billing if you take up any of the upgrades, but you must stress you wish to remain on monthly billing, otherwise it may default back to 3 monthly.

If you are referring to telephone bill, then you should be alright, but I would still stress you wish to retain this, just to be on the safe side.

I found calling 0845 6007030 best for sorting out all this; press 1 for the Home option, then Option 3 and Option 2, and you 'should' get a UK operator.
