250 Free Wi-Fi Minutes?

[link to this post]

I have recently been automatically transferred to BT Total Broadband Option 4. Do I get free Wi-Fi Minutes and if so how do I sign up?

any idea when, it states you must OPT IN. Although there is nothing anywhere telling you how to OPT IN. Ive been waiting 4 days for an answer now, cant be that difficult. I beginning to wish i went with eclipse again, BT might be a great offer but customer service is shocking.

Ease up - "shocking" is for too strong here. I would say - ill informed.

I love the way people dramatise stuff.

I received a BT Mail today when my upgrade is due.

It contains the following:-
"Free WiFi Access with BT Openzone:
With your BT Broadband service you are entitled to 250 minutes a month of free access to BT Openzone for the duration that you are under contract. We'll send an email to your BT Yahoo! Mail address within two weeks of your broadband activation with all the information you need to claim your FREE BT Openzone minutes."

Well i have to disagree, its now five days and 3 requests for clarification, by anyones customer standards that has to be pretty dismal. Now mine is a request for information about a product, i can just imagine the frustration from somebody who is awaiting an answer to a specific technical question to enable a link or connection.

Each company must have some targets at which it answers questions, do you honestly believe that BT has a 5 day target.

And finally, dont tell me i dramatise stuff, instead use your obvious intellect to something more useful. If you require a personal dig then keep it to pms and not the main forum.

Many thanks in anticipation
