What has Yahoo got to do with the service?

Do we have to have an offensive banner on our browsers?

To use the service do you NEED to install anything?
ie can you just use a username + passwd within the router?

You do not need to install any of their software whatsoever. The router comes preconfigured to automatically connect to the ADSL line. If you connect your router via the ethernet there is nothing else to do, Windows will find the router by itself. Use your favourite browser and email programs. I use Opera and Pegasus Mail here and never installed anything off the CD.
