I am one of the unfortunate E7even customers who were left high and dry by all. I needed BB so I ordered a new line from BT with BT Max option 3. I have had it 24 hours so far and it appears to be the worst thing I could have done. I have a Cisco 837 router that has been rock solid for the last 18 months on a 2 Meg service. Now it is re-training every 30 minutes, I keep getting Loss of Margin errors from the exchange. I have contacted Cisco and upgraded to the latest code for the modem and IOS, they did say there have been issues with BT Max. Upshot of that, no difference!! I have searched the web and found very little, except someone who thought it was a Cisco Bug. I have however managed to talk to a few people using the new service and it seem that BT have gone for speed over stability from what I can tell. ! I have not talked to anyone who has a good service yet!! I must point out I live in the sticks in Norfolk, but I am getting about 3 to 4 Megs DS. I just want a reliable service. Is anyone else out there getting this issue? I have heard about this 10 day settling in period. No one has managed to convince me that this is technically feasible, sounds like BS to me. Please tell me why if you know. Regards one cheesed of BT max customer.....
