A big thanks to Mr Saffron for his assistance in getting my BT number checker information updated

For almost two years I've been stuck on 512k. It was a stable connection and my router reported stats that suggested a 1MB connection should be possible. Nothing I said to BTY would persuade them to upgrade me... the line checker said NO, so end of story

Using the info here I asked Mr Saffron for help. The checker was updated and I was able to place an upgrade order with BTY.

Upgrade was scheduled for today between 8am and 6pm so I was pleased to find when I checked my router this morning at 6:45 that it had re-synced at 1152.
