Heat related problems and noise down the line...

[link to this post]

Had 3 weeks of severe speeds and many disconnections this was during that heatwave, i then get a phone call from bt saying its fixed and for the most part it was. Speeds upto 270kb/s and 1 disconnection a day but it looks like the problems are back again. Started yesterday when it started to warm up , had a few disconnections and my speeds have dropped to 170kb/s. Today its rather warm again and im hearing ALOT of noise down the phone causing my internet to disconnect ive also had the odd severe sync drop.

I would suggest you get onto BT and they will then get onto wholesale/openreach to look at the line.

They would only charge if your own equipment, and from your previous posts, I would say this has been checked all the time which of course will add frustration

I would book the appointment, if no changes.

Hope all gets sorted

PS: If they have left fault open, it will sit in Awaiting Appointment, and no further checks will be made unless they have rejected it back to BT Wholesale

Hope that helps
