BT grasshopper question

[link to this post]

I, Grasshopper, am one of the unlucky Euro1net customers, and plan to move to BT. Bit confused by all this 'hub' business. If I start a new contract with BT, what's the minimum I have to pay for? I am already a BT customer for phone calls, so I just want to start a new broadband account with them. Would I need a new modem or will my old one from E1N perhaps do (can't recall the model)?
And...on the lowest level with the 2gb useage, is that enough for everyday 9-5 use assuming you don't download videos or too much music? I want to use it during the day but not downloading too much - mostly browsing and e-mail. Do I just pay for re-activation (and modem if required) in terms of up-front costs?Any help appreciated..

Option 1 fits the bill. If you regularly bust the 2gig limit they will invite you to upgrade.

You won't get a free hub on that option but they will send you a free Voyager 220v router so you can use Broadband Talk.

12 month contract or 18 months for cheaper price . I don't think there are any activation fee's.

Thanks for that, I'll check it out. They change their pricing amazingly often. I got an 'Aug 06' brochure with my phone bill saying
