Hub Signal Strength

[link to this post]

My BT Home Hub was giving low signal in the current setup I had at home but it worked and I was not to fussed, my previous router had always given good strength. I did not move the Hub or the pc, but now the signal strength is very good all the time. The only think I done in this time was complete the setup of my BroadbandTalk and restart the Hub.

What other factors can improve the signal quality, in particular espicially when you don't actually move any equipment or furniture and the like?

Re: Hub Signal Strength

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

I had changed it previoulsy to channel 12. The Hub gave a poor / low signal strength. As I say I just connected a phone downstairs and configured router for BB Talk and then rebooted and now suddenly have Excellant or Very Good signal strength. With the Hub not moving or PC not moving. I am wondering if one of my neighbours has moved something and hence my signal can now get to pc with a stronger signal, is that plausable?
