Just been regraded - How do these line stats look?

[link to this post]

My 1Mb fixed service (fixed due to a false red on the line checker DB) has just been regraded. The work was completed around 3am on the appointed day, when my router resynched at the new higher speed.

My router is a Vigor 2600. running 2_5_6_UK firmware. Output from a telnetted "adsl status" is below.

I was told there would now be a 10 day bedding-in period. Should I hold off from hammering the cr@p out of the line until this has completed and the line's actual throughput is closer to it's connection speed. Also you can see that its operating in interleaved mode, I may need to get that changed if it proves problematic in WoW

WOW isn't ping sensitive enough for interleaving/fastpath to make a difference - however if you play any other games that are you would need to get it changed...

Your SNR is lowish, but thats at a high sync rate, you might find the sync rate drops off 100-200kbit by the end of the training period - but for better stability and probably won't affect your final throughput figures dramatically...

Well I play counter strike with interleaving, I also live in the north of Scotland so theirs added ping all over the place.

As for getting interleaving turned off, this has proved troublesome for people who have tried to get it turned off with no or little success. It also appears to be BT Wholesale who are having trouble turning interleaving off.

Counterstrike does have some latency compensation code - however a lower ping is still ideal...

I went through hell to get interleaving turned off - however at that time the feedback form (since removed) went live - one response to that and I was back on fastpath inside 24 hours - but I prolly got lucky at that point...

no harm emailing support asking them to turn interleaving off tho...
