re:WoW players on BT Broadband

[link to this post]

I wonder if anyone can help me...I'm currently on NTL 10mb cable broadband and am having a BT line put in this Friday. I was hoping someone could let me know what it was like playing WoW on BTBB with the recent lag/ping issues ingame that everyone seems to be suffering from. It would be nice if someone on BTBB at the moment that is playing WoW could reply to this post and let me know the situation.

Regards

thanks, that is so much better than what we're getting on a 10mb connection with NTL...could be worth a trial period with BT If anyone else wants to try and ping that server - go for it and plz post your results here

Thanks again.

in game pings are normally 80-220. not the best but its a stable connection, telia just dont seem to like the UK. people i know from those places with snow and christmas trees have had 15-30ms

interesting...snow and christmas trees huh? I know when I tracert from the NTL connection I have, NTL's infastructure contains alot of packet losses. Telia is not 100% stable but without NTL to deal with aswell it should reduce the latency in game and make it at least more playable...I hope
