10 days - still no firmware update

[link to this post]

My replacement hub (1st was faulty) has been happily connected for 10 days yet has not updated its firmware - its still 6.1.1.R and not the bad 6.2.2.6 that was on my faulty hub

I thought it would have updated by now

Well it upgraded at 6am according to the router stats
If it borks the router I will NOT be best pleased as since having this replacement hub I have had a rock steady connection on 6.1.1.R but now the dreaded 6.2.2.6 is on it and I need to keep an eye out for issues

But why all of a sudden has my IP profile dropped again to 6500kbps from the steady 7000kbps ??
Surely firmware upgrade shouldnt lower the profile ??

IP profile for your line is - 6500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 8096 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 6008 kbps

Am hoping it doesnt bork it as I do not need another 10 rounds with Bangalore - I lost count of the times they put the phone down when I was trying to get the faulty hub replaced

Simple solution if you don't like the new firmware.

Manually install 6.1.1.R and do the trick to prevent it updating again.

I am the same got my hub on thursday and and my line was max enabled as well. During that day was getting speed of 6.5mb on the speedtest.net tester now as it has upgraded it's self I am lucky to even get 2.5mb weird yet on the BT Speedtester my results are pretty much the same asz yours!

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 6500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 8096 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5732 kbps

Can never get any where near that on any other speed test dunno if I should go back to my voyager 2091???

If this hub borks on me with the new firmware I will go back to my 2091 as that was rock steady - and Id have to go back to usb on one pc but I never had issues BUT at least so far the new firmware hasnt kicked me off constantly like the other hub I had did!
