Please can someone tell me if I can speak to a UK based BT tech help person ? After having a breakdown on my connection I phoned the tech helpline and was talking to a person in India ... firstly let me say that no offence is meant and I am not a racist.
I was told to do the same things over and over, was promised call back which never happened ... was told that the problem must be my end of the line and eventually after getting really stressed was finally told the fault must be at the exchange.
After two days the connection was back but today it is back to it's old tricks .... on, off or very very slow.
There are obviously still problems and I will have to get back to the tech dept .... but I don't want to speak to anyone in India. I have a hard time understanding the accent, plus I am slightly hard of hearing which doesn't help !
So does anyone know of a phone number I can ring to speak to someone British ? I am so frustrated and to think I am paying for the service but getting hardly a connection !!
