If you cancel during a cooling off period. I had been in contact with the ceo's office about my whole BT debacle with them. Told them I wanted to cancel and I was entitled to a cool off period (which they agreed) I noticed my BT bill was online this morning and I got a hell of a shock! Turned out it was

no what will have happened is that your bill should have been brought in for amendmant before you recived it however it has probably been missed speak to cs on 0800 800 150 and they will correct it for you straight away this happens all the time and is no problem

june this year to november next year when your contract ran out its called a term charge i.e charging you for your entire contract for cancelling within the term
