BT Broadband Remote Support...

[link to this post]

One time I ago I had to go through this with some person in india. http://www.bt.com/gta

One PC had this plugin installed, now I cannot find any info on what the files that remain on the PC. Does anyone know what files were installed and where they are?

In reply to:

Q: Are there any files or folders left on my computer after the session ends?
A: The downloaded file stays on your computer; however, the file is useless without a new "encryption key." To download a new encryption key, you would need to initiate a subsequent session with a support representative. Screen-sharing sessions have to be initiated by you, not a support representative.

I don't even know what I'm looking for and theres no traces of BT or such. It has to be somewhere.

I know it'll be useless but I really want to get rid of any traces of these files, just for the sake of it.

The FAQ also states that the file if between 300kb and 580kb (from memory) I suppose that helps to narrow it down. I would think its stored in the temporary internet files.

Thats probably why I can't find it then. As I clear those every night before the PC's have been shutdown.
