Voyager 205 Router and had a trouble free year. No problems whatsoever..
those were the days. I then switched to the BT Home Hub and was upgraded to 8mb which was also fine for a couple of months but then all the problems started to occur (note: I was NOT using wireless), I just couldn't access the internet half the time, had to restart comp/hub a couple of times before I could and also I like to play online games such as Counter-Strike: Source, it would time me out the first time I joined a server - everytime, when I joined again it would be fine. Also when I came off the game, I couldn't access web pages for a good 5-10 mins after.
So just thinking it's a bad pierce of hardware after reading simular problems I decided to return to my trusty Voyager 205 thinking all would be well again.. how wrong I was. It's even worse than the Home Hub this time, again I struggle to even establish a connection - the dsl light just flashes. After a few reboots that seems to do the trick. Again I have problems with CS: Source, this time not with time outs but with high latency- varies from 100-600. Also again I can't access web pages when I come straight off. Anyone have any idea whats up? Have tried ringing them up but to tell you the honest truth could not understand a word the man was saying - despite asking him to repeat everything about 3 times.
Cheers.
