I would say not.

You'll just have to wait and see.

I have had very little trouble with BT, only issue was when a modem blew up due to thunderstorm and they wanted to charge me for a new one. Got the Voyager 2091 free after getting in touch with a UK number. The advice issue is discussed here http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=bt&Number=3053707&page=6&view=expanded&sb=5&o=0 and here http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=bt&Number=2988858&page=15&view=expanded&sb=5&o=0 I appreciate people have had problems with speeds etc. but apart from the tech help I can honestly say I've been satisfied with the service. Time will tell as you say. It's due to be upgraded 25th July. I'll let you know how it goes.

I had the same sort of situation and BT upgraded me by mistake.
My line speed went up with the home hub but not by as much as they said it would.
The main problem with BT is the poor support offered from india not helped by the fact no one takes control of an issue.
I found the wireless part difficult to set up on my own but had got as part of my compensation for moving me without permison six months of their IT advisor service and they took over and set it up with no probelms.
so to answer your question Yes
