I have setup a new SBS 2003 server for a customer to enable them to use a Sage Act database. The intention is for sales people to access the server remotely while away from the office.
I have setup a couple of servers before and am aware of the ports that need to be redirected through the router firewall. However, I am having major difficulties getting access through a Business Hub, and a Google search indicates this is not uncommon.
I have arranged for the company to have a fixed IP address and this IP address is being picked up if I use www.mywanip.com from a workstation in the office. I can also ping the fixed IP address from home.
However I am unable to gain access to the server via any service despite redirecting the ports.
Has anyone had this problem and solved it, or has anyone any ideas so that I can resolve my issue as soon as possible.
TIA
