[link to this post]

My download is 3,648 Kbps But upload is only 128 Kbps.

Shouldn't this be 515kbps ??

I'm on ADSL Max

DSL Connection

Upstream should be 448kbps.

The issue is your line, it is being affected by noise somewhere along its journey. MrSaffron did mention something to me before about the SN Margin on the upstream and the rough location of the noise.

I know how it feels to have a noisy line, hopefully just got rid of mine!!

I already had an openreach engineer check the line with his laptop & "Apts tester?"

There are no errors on the line.

What else could it be ?

Their are errors one the line.

It could be a dodgy hub/router. If Openreach have been out and found no issue it can be troublesome, this is the same issue I had.

Look at your upstream noise margin and post back if you see it fluctuating. Over an hour should be fine. You could also try rebooting the hub and seeing if it goes back up.

Yep, that'll be an iffy hub then. I normally sync at 8128Kbps, my ******* hub is currently seeing fit to drop the sync to 4074Kbps....... toujours la ka-ka, n'est pas ?

SNR Margin on UP side went from 7 dB to : 21.0 dB

Does that mean anything ?

First step is to get a replacement home hub sent out and get that in place, if the issue still happens after that then its a line issue.

Or a HomeHub software issue meaning trying other kit may be worthwhile.

HH seems to take stability over speed in every case.
