BT Yahoo! Online Protection

My subscription for Windows Live One Care has just expired so thought I'd download the free software from BT Yahoo!, which is powered by Norton.

Its suprisingly light and does not significantly slow down my PCs performance.

Anyone else use this and anyone know when they will update it to Norton 2008?

yeah im using it with no probs... although i thought it was already a version of 2008 but just customised for BT :S

Actualy, after having it installed for a few days noticed that my computer was getting slower and 'yop.exe' was using a lot of memory - then I found out that the BT Yahoo! Online Dashboard is not compatible with Vista though Norton Online is.

So uninstalled it all and gone back to McAfee, but will use it again if they update it to support Vista.

It does support Vista, their was an upgrade to it shortly after Vista's release to make it compatible.

I run the BT version of Norton. No problems on a Vista machine

Just got a new laptop (spec below) and installed the BT Yahoo! Online Protection and it works with no bother now, so it must of been an issue with my older laptop.

Just a question though - with Norton's 2009 Product Line up just around the corner, when are BT going to update to the 2008 version? I've checked the BT Beta forums and this is a popular question, but with no official response.
