Can you post the stats from the hub (or router or whatever you use) as these are more an indicator of what you should be getting speed wise

Did you ask for the interleaving to be turned off on your line yourself? as going by your results, the quality of your line isnt good enough with your high noise margin of 18dbi and the attenuation at 55.3dbi.

here's a comparison to show you the difference between the quality of your line, as I also have interleaving turned off the same as you, but my line is rock solid.

Noise Margin
Yours 18.0 dB (Downstream) 21.0 dB (Upstream)
Mine 5.6 dB (Downstream) 23.0 dB (Upstream)

Attenuation
Yours 55.3 dB (Downstream) 31.5 dB (Upstream)
Mine 22.0 dB (Downstream) 12.0 dB (Upstream)

You need to telephone BT and tell them to turn interleaving back on, as your line cant handle it. then your IP profile will start slowly going back up over a period of 10 days.

You cant change it.

The problem is your line length, its got a 55db downstream attenuation which means your looking at around 1.5meg in speed. If your line stays up higher than 1700kbps you should get a 1500k profile. But the chances are your line syncs down below 1700kbps every couple of days which means BT Wholesale will give you a 1000k profile.

OK STUPID QUESTION TIME ARE YOU IN THE MASTER SOCKET AND IF SO ARE YOU IN THE TEST SOCKET AS PLUGGING IN TO THE TEST SOCKET WILL RULE OUT ANY INTERNAL WIRING PROBLEMS, my old line hadd an att of 63 db and still carried between 1.5 and 2 meg on max so yours should carry slightly higher than your getting now

Results are from both the test socket and with the router plugged in as normal.

There is NO internal wiring.

The BT cable comes into the house into the master, NO extension sockets wired into the master at all. Phones around the house are on wireless handsets.
