And so far the connection is better than UKFSN/ENTA

Speeds are a little faster and webpages load faster also.

Not used the HH yet but that will all be set up later tonight.

ah ok... this new HH is all very clever.. phone calls are going down the adsl line from thhe filter but the actuall call is still on the landline.

That was a truly pants explanation. A better one is that all HHs use the same username and password to connect, but the stuff that lets BT know who you are is tied into the phone number used to connect - that's why you can swap HHs about with gay abandon yet they still work.

In your last post, are you talking about Broadband Talk, or just normal phone calls?

Question about the wireless.. How fast should i be connected when using the "n" standard? whats the max connection speed?? the laptop im on support wireless n

802.11N - Like all wireless, range, speed and so on are "how long is a bit of string" questions, you'll get the best the kit can deliver, depending on local conditions and the kit itself.

However, some people have mentioned that the HH2 isn't a great improvement over the earlier "g" versions' range, and some enterprising souls have modified the case to fit external antennas to improve the range of the wireless.

My own experience, using "g" only, is that the range is fractionally (a few feet) less in my house, but I do have massive stone walls splitting the house up, so it really only works well in one room!

Thats not that helpfull tbh...

if i asked what speed a "g" network would connect at (max speed) i would get told 54mb standard or 108/125Mb for MIMO

So what is the maximum wireless speed one could connect to the HH2 at?? 130mb? 200mb? its not a hard question. but i have not managed to find any info by googleing
