Home Hub (v1)

Hi,

I've got a spare BT home hub (the early model) and I want to install it for a friend who is also on BT but still has the old Voyager router (non-wireless).

Is it possible to do swap and do I need to do any reconfiguring of the home hub to work with my friends account?

Yes, it'll swap straight in, no config of router required.

Assuming the PC is set up to pick up an IP address automatically, that should just work too.

I would, however, be sure to do a reset of your old router, to make sure that all your settings are cleared (eg, broadband talk details).
