Another throttling question

I am a heavy user, so I expect to be throttled on my newsgroup and p2p downloads.
The problem I am having is with video streaming, which BT say they do not throttle.
I am getting constant buffering when watching sky player even on medium setting.
Also watch football streams , which are not Sky, and am having constant buffering problems.
Does anybody else experience this?
According to my Hub homepage, I have a potential downstream speed of 7,616Kbps!!

Sorry im not as tech as most but i believe BT restrict the throughput of some users during peak times which would affect all usuage. I notice it when i try and watch youtube and other streaming sites it is much slower. HTTP speeds are around 1-2mb which is still ok for browsing and such. Also i don't think its to do with congestion as I did 2 tests just now:

Pretty much my max speed using the bt speed tester which i read goes straight throught to the end without any interferance from BT restrictions, I don't download mass amounts just mainly game files (steam) but i think most usuage is from streaming as there are 3 total users in my house. I don't mind much aslong as the videos I watch stream ok and games keep low pings im happy. I think im way to loyal to BT I could be on sky BB,be,O2 on my exchange but believe it or not BT have been great for me.

How do you get BT Speedtester you work? It only ever says it's busy when I try. And I've tried at various times in the day.

I've heard many people having problems with that, I've never came across it strangely. Have you tried updating java and trying different browsers. I seem to get on fine with firefox on vista 64bit and the only ever error I had was a java error.

I occasionally have trouble streaming Youtube from time to time. Football streams, cant say I watch them but other family members using said streams doesn't complain. So I presume all is well.

i probably use the same streams as you do for the football, tvu and sopcast generally are ok if using one of the american sites but the chinease ones do give me problems
