Anyone on BT Broadband who has completed their minimum term contract..

If you want to cease the BT Broadband they apply a £25 fee - applys from 12 June 2009 to all customers.

Doesn't apply if your moving to another provider tho IIRC.

thats correct but to get the new supplier to resync the line and at least try and get a better speed best to start with a clean line instead of just migrating over and keeping same speed.

No, you've got it wrong. The £25 charge only applies if it's a cease (i.e you're not moving to another ISP be it another IPStream supplier or a LLU one).

Asking your new gaining provider to get target noise reset / line retrained is nothing to do with BTBroadband it's the BTWholesale department that deals with that stuff.

To re-sync your line you can just turn your router off and on again, simple as that. To reset your target noise margin you just need to have a stable line, if it's not stable it wont go back down. As for an IP profile it will follow your sync speed after a few days.

You seem to fundamentally misunderstand how a broadband connection works.
