BT Business Option 2

[link to this post]

Long story shortened but BT Business have against my instruction moved me to a lower cost Option 2 package. I joined them in April 2007 on their 'old' option 2 and was quite happy - they have mistakenly regraded me to their 'new option 2' package but despite assurances that it is just the same product only cheaper - my speeds feel far worse - Does anybody know if there are differences in the products that might affect me. - Many thanks Rod.

There is no reason why you should have seen a reduction in speed as a result of changing to the lower cost option 2, and in some areas you may see an increase in speed, depending on whether ADSL2+ has been rolled out in your exchange yet.
It may be that there is a fault on your line that has been affecting your speed. If you would like to to look into it further please send a private message with your ADSL phone number and contact number.

Good spot!

Though probably just an error by the poster, best to ignore. Though the data requested is hardly high-risk.
