I know what you mean, I was advised that when i took me broadband out it would be unlimited then i went over the the 100GB limit which i say is know where advertised on bt's fair usage page

So as for the 2nd month i went over me limited i called up and asked for a free bt vison box as straming Iplayer and Itv player is not included in your allowance so you can stream as much as you want from the BT vision box. They havent i have had problem after problem with BT and now have gone to ofcom who has told me to go to otelo as i have had so many poblems like
1. Stayed in all day for engineer after paying £130 approx for a line to be installed and he never turned up.
2. Keep losing wireless connectivity from the hub had 3 hubs so far and lose it at least once to 3 times a mth and they try to balme it on me using windows 7, having a microwave, cos i have sky tv connected to me line.
3. Telling me now that 0845 and 0870 numbers if answered by a automatic manchine and not a live person they are not free.
4. Spending 4 hrs ay a time on the fone to broadband support (indian call centre) and takes them about 4 hrs to sort my broandband out.
5. Limiting me broadband to 1MB at peak times cos i stram a lot.
I live in Liverpool city centre and my exchange can only provide talk talk or BT ( liverpool North Exchange) and i mean i live in the city centre cant even get sky or orange and as i am a orange mobile and sky tv customer i cant even get there free broadband.
They say if i am going over or paying for going over to upgrade me package and i argue with them that i am on the higest package and i was sold it as unlimited.
I think it is discusting and the attuide of the customer service advisor or broadband help desk as if i am think even thou i have worked for BT 151 residental faultys.
I am hoping to get some compensation for the [censored] i have had for the last 9mths and they insist in keeping me to the rest of me 9 mths contract as i signed upto a 18mth contract.
I was passed to 19 departments today even to some more than once or twice and no one at BT could help me with me enquiry's above. They said it all wasnt there fault non of it.
I am pulling me hair out......Trying to get a answer from them.....
