migrating

Generally we see only the problems on this forum so its difficult to decide if a move is recommended. Is BT ok to move to, I'm on a very reliable ISP at present but am finding it difficult to stay below the limits on bandwidth and to choose a higher limit makes it expensive. With the increased use of Iplayer and other channels versions it is becoming necessary to have an ""unlimited"" model. I'm not able to get any llu except orange (and I'm not happy with them) nor can I get Be, O2 or Virgin.
All thoughts would be much appreciated.
Peter

P2p is throttled to dial up during the evening. Everything else is fine.

That's a no then?
Seems pointless to move if speeds are not in the same ball park as Newnet. Was not thinking of P2P as such but tv catchup/Iplayer. If speeds are that slow then these would not run satisfactorily.
What speeds are you referring to and from? 7meg down to 4meg or less?
Thanks.

I am happy with BT. Everything works fine. Iplayer is fine. If you want tv catch up, look at the vision packs.

P2P is throttled to dial up speeds during the evening. If you don't want to use p2p in the evening, you'll be fine. smile
