Hello,
Need help if you could. BT line/broadband was fine not a single gripe about it, then two weeks ago went down to just better than dial up. I have been on the phone to india enough to make me rip my hair out. Not only that I got my son his own Xbox for christmas, poor kid still not been on live with his friends two weeks later. Thats all he wanted to do on christmas morning. BT spoiled his day which i am very mad about but hey, sob over lol! I am waiting for them to call back for the umteenth time. Any help would be great.

Are both those tests using a computer wired to the Home Hub, or wireless?
Is the computer Vista, XP or something else?

Your line sync rates are ok, and even the profile is not too dodgy and thats something the BTWholesale kit can mess up.
Its not uncommon for BTRetail broadband to suffer from both congestion and traffic management which would slow things down. So it might be that.
On the other hand in your router statistics you have CRAZY figures for UPSTREAM ERRORS. If those are even half right it seems likely your system will be having to resend a lot of its requests and replies which will slow the effective speed down immensely. Unless someone else can suggest something this would be a strong case for testing with a different microfilter/router-cable/router if at all possible. That would help to eliminate a problem at your end. Once that's eliminated then a line fault or fault in the card at the exchange would seem possible.

2147480000 error value for CRC is a known bug... its not actually that high - but I've not seen that number for the HEC upstream error rate as a known bug... which is pretty high.

And the error seconds.
How long since you switched it off?

it reset itself earlier on, previously it had been on for like 4 days or so.

Looks like either the router or a line card fault. Can you try a different router? If not, you'll have to report it to the ISP.
