thinking of Switching to BT but worried about interleaving

[link to this post]

To BT from Pipex.
I have posted a similar question one the gaming forum so hope the Mods don't mind.
We are on fixed 2Mb line and have 53db attenuation. S/N isn't bad (typically 12 db or better). If we go adsl and interleaving gets applied, will my son notice it on WoW or BF2 ?
Any advice/experience welcome.
This has been sparked by an offer from BT which would save £10 a month (down from pipex's £24). Its a rural exchange so no other providers.

Interleaving may be fine, question is how stable is the latency on the BT services

If you like whopping great lag spikes then BT is very good at that, if you like constantly ringing their support and being told a pack of lies then your on a winner.

But seriously think twice about BT broadband, its no joke being locked into a 18 month contract with a really poor connection.

Go with company's that do monthly contracts and you can't go wrong really.

OK Tox, seems you don't want help, just to whinge. I note, with some schadenfreude, that you have now spent £130 to exorcise your neurosis.

Well done. Good ploy.

gamming pings very good on interleaved or fastpath on bt, thats why they use the central plus from BTW, your son wont notice it at all on WOW, COD should be fine ive been playing fps for years on the pc and the PS3 online with btbb and no issues
