Most of my posts to this forum in the past have been asking for help or advice, this is where I come when I get desperate, but not this time.
My broadband suddenly lost synch and went down on Monday so I rang the BT Vision helpdesk with some trepidation, my past experiences have not been very good. I got through within minutes and they asked me to plug the router in the master socket and ran some tests. They rang back later in the day and booked an engineer for this afternoon, the engineer turned up on time and found and repaired a wiring fault outside of my property. I have just received a courtesy call from BT asking if everything is now OK, I said that broadband was now working but vision was still down. He explained that the profile needed resetting and they had already logged a call with wholesale to reset it, it should be done later today.
Credit where credit is due, no drama, no fuss, just efficient, courteous and knowledgeable staff, nice one BT!
