BT Hub Phone 2 second answer delay ?

My phone packed in so i thought I'd give the hub phone a try.

There is always a 2 second delay when answering calls, I can break dial tone straight away when calling someone.

It's just annoying when you anser the phone and you have to wait...

Is it normal for these hub phones ? Or do i need to change some settings.

What I have noticed before now is that the phones will finish playing the ringtone once you pick up. Is that maybe what you are getting?

Have you got it set to "Answer on pickup" or to use a button to answer ??
I have it set to use the button to answer a call and I found that stopped the delay !!
