Netgear DG834G and BT BBTalk softphone

Can I use the softphone with my Netgear router ?
Trying to set it up and Im getting error "We are unable to connect you to softphone,please check you have entered login details correctly (BTS_30401)
I've given up with Hhub because of the frequent disconnections and speed drops, I'm missing the BBtalk phone tho' .
