A friend of mine is currently with BT Broadband and has the BT Voyager 220v. They wanted to get wireless networking (802.11g) in their house so I suggested a suitable Netgear ADSL wireless router. Having bought it, he then informs me that he is currently using the BT VoIP handset as he gets free off-peak calls to landlines. It doesn't appear this can be used with the Netgear router.
Doing some digging around, I have found that BT also do a BT Voyager 2500v which has wireless (802.11g) and appears to have ports to plug his BT VoIP handset into it. Before I suggest he purchases this, can anyone confirm if this will be a reasonably straight swap for his existing 220v?
Thanks in advance.
