Great Service

[link to this post]

My download speed dropped to 1mbps 2 days ago, rang BT Broadband help desk at 19:00 last night was speaking to an Indian operative within 1 min.
They did a line check said problem was at exchange the fault would be fixed today and would ring me back to confirm problem fixed. Checked my download speed at 13:00 today, speed back to better than before fault at 5 mbps which is average for my location. They also rang back as promised.

Well done BT Broadband.

Wow, just a shame the rest of Bt is not like that.

a work mate of mine have been having line problems since before May and Bt have now sent 5 engineers down, two in the last couple of days and have now at long last realised that the fault is not internal, but external. Well done BT, it only taken 4 months or so. I worked out it was outside in the first day he started to have problems.

Now how long will it take for Bt to fix it?

My experience of BT Infnity customer service has been positive so far, on both occasions put through to a UK call centre and problems sorted.
