here we go again (interleaving)

[link to this post]

Recently been swapped over to ADSL2+ proper (previously capped to adsl max 8192/896 speeds)... meaning interleaving back on auto frown and after a week of fastpath and good syncs for some random reason its enabled interleaving again - no unplanned disconnections/very little rate adaption, some errors but the broadcom chipset on this router handles it fine.

Previous 1 day time = 24hours 0sec
SF = 5358919 CRC = 1838
LOS = 0 LOF = 0 ES = 911

Wonder if its gonna be fun and games like last 2 times I had them switch fastpath to on rather than auto frown

Actually if someone from BT_Care could get back to me about getting interleaving switched to OFF I'd appreciate it as I foresee this becoming complicated like last time due to the nature of this line.

I'd also like to know if its absolutely necessary to be routed via sheffield on 21cn? as I was previously routed via reading (I live in Somerset) which gave me low pings, now my connection does an extra 300mile round trip up the country and back which seems to lead to sluggish web browsing at peak times (throughput is still 700+KByte/s but links sometimes take awhile to respond or not all images load the first time on a page, etc.).
