Broadband phone packages.

[link to this post]

I wonder if anyone knows whereabouts on the BT site it is possible to upgrade my phone to phone and broadband. The reason I'm asking is that I have Allday anytiome phone package and want Option2 broadband to be added on. I am willing to enter another 18month contract for the combined package. At the moment all they are offering is Evening/Weekend casll with Option 2 Broadband. I only want 40Gb download and not unlimited as that would cost more than I am paying at the moment.

If anyone can find that package Allday Anytime calls and Option2 Broadband) on BT's site could you let me know. They seem to have it well hidden.

Hi there,
I've had a quick look on BT's website and can't find the option you want.

What I would suggest you do, is give BT's sales department a call on 0800 775 525 and they should be able to place the order manually for you.

Sorry i can't be of more help.

Nothing to see here.. Move along, please

As you discovered BT only do Packages in certain combinations. There is no Option 2 BB + Anytime Calls Package.

Why don't you just take out Option 2 BB Only (on top of your existing Anytime Calls Plan)? Together it will cost £26 pm (after the 1st 3 months). That is £2 less than the Unlimited Broadband and Calls, or £8 more than More Broadband and Calls but you get your Anytime Calls. Or pay the extra £2 and get the "Unlimited" Option 3 BB thrown in?

I know it doesn't seem fair, but that's the idea of Packages.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU BB => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU BB

Thanks for your replies, I am awaiting a reply from BTregarding this at the moment. I don't wish to pay more then I pay at the moment for a similar or worse package.
