I've just been upgraded from a 'Storm' to a BB 'Torch', so I eagerly configured the wifi on my new toy. Problem is, after a few minutes of use (variable) the HH (V2) wifi 'locks up' i.e. the signal is there, but no connection can be made from any wifi device. The only fix is to reboot the router. Any ideas?

This is driving me mad! Has anybody else seen this behaviour?
Note: there is no problem connecting to 'hotspots', so it's the router, not the phone.

Have you tried seeing if they will let you have an HH3?

Yes, I have. I raised another issue with BT that the HH2 Variant B does not comply to DNLA standards, and therefore does not allow DNLA devices to communicate, and I was told categorically that I would not get an HH3 (or HH2 variant A which does work!).

RobertoS, the HH2 is a pile of sheet, on my second now will be asking to get it replaced with a HH3. Don`t get me wrong, speed wise connection fairly decent but the Hub itself has a mind of its own.

Did you really expect to get a new Hub 3 just because you have upgraded your phone?

I think that you're missing the point here. There are several issues with the HH2 Var. B that make it unusable; the phone causing the wifi to lock up is just the final nail in the coffin!
So,I put it to you, having to install an intermediate switch, to cure the DNLA problem, and having to reboot the HH2 every time i walk in to the house with my phone on, is acceptable?

Yes, I may have missed the point but the way it was put in your original post, was suggesting that your new phone was causing the the Hub Wifi to lock.
If you went with that to BT, I am not surprised that they knocked back your request for a Hub 3 as a replacement!!!
