Hi guys,
Got a question, but i'm not sure if it is something anyone will know, but its worth a shot.
I'm currently with BT broadband, and had a 5metre phone cable going from the socket to the homehub, then a 10metre ethernet cable going from the homehub to my xbox/PS3.
Today, I decided to move the homehub closer to the Xbox and PS3, so I could use shorter ethernet cables. Now in me doing this, i'm now using a 10metre phone cable and a 2metre ethernet cable
I haven't noticed any problems with my connection, just that my Line Attenuation has risen from 26.5 to 26.9.
Really what i'm asking is, that for my internet connection, is it better to have the shortest phone cable, with a longer ethernet cable....... or a longer phone cable, with a shorter ethernet cable?
Or is it all six and two three's lol
Steve
